Review: 3CE (3 Concept Eyes) Creamy Lip Color No.9 Kitsch Biker

Again, I have been MIA from my blog again. Too occupied by my work and many other things.  Oh well, I am back with some reviews on Korean products. Because my friend went to Korea not long ago, so I asked her to help me buy some stuff. =) =) But today is review on 3CE lip product.

Recently I am so obsesses with lip product esp those with bright color (guess I found myself not really match with the nude or pinkish color =(  even tho I really like the pinkish color, it just not match with my skin tone).

I bought this 3CE lip product not long ago in No.9 Kitsch Biker (orange reddish color). It soon becomes my  on-the-go lip product. Before I was not a fan of lip product (I can go out without putting any lipstick),  I am more to eye shadow geek but now I love BOTH. Lolx

What I like:
1. I love the packaging, it is simple and classy plus has the "Click" sound when you close it (it is like give me the secure feeling that it is tightly close) haha
2. It is moist and for sure creamy as its name which make the application so easy ( I don't need to put any lip balm to moist my lip)
3. It is very beautiful color which match my skin perfectly
4. For me, it is quite long lasting, can last for like 4 hours even after I have my meal.
5. It is affordable only 13.300 WON ( SGD 16.3)

So far, I am so satisfy with this product, haven't found any point I don't like yet. Hopefully won't, haha.

I think I will try the other colors of this collection ( will try to go for more neutral color)  =))

My February 2014 Favorite

February ended so fast, I feel like just finish writing my January Favorite and now it is March already, so it is time for me to write February Favorite :) Time flies...Just a blink of eyes, its already March of 2014. Remember clearly that me and my group of friends just discussing what to do on Old & New 2013. :D Time flies so fast~~

Ok, no more babbling, lets start!

1. Real Techniques - Stippling Brush

I L.O.V.E this Dual-Fiber Stippling Brush by Real Techniques, I usually use it to apply my foundation and dabbing to my face to get more coverage by building the foundation. It gives the kinda airbrush effect to the finish look. The bristle is real soft and 100% cruelty-free. One more thing I like from Real Techniques brushes are their length of the bristle is perfectly measure, not too short or long, so it is easier to control its movement. Plus, I like the color because it is PINK!!!

Really RECOMMEND this one if you want to get the airbursh and more coverage in applying foundation. This stippling brush will def my On-to-go brush now.

Their Bristle is really soft and not too short or too long, so it is easier to control its movement

2. Sigma Brushes : Small Angle (E65) ,Tapered Blending (E40)

Aside than Real Techniques brush, I also in love in SIGMA brush, their brushes are really steady and works really good. I personally really like their Small Angle (E65) brush because with this one, I could get the Winged eyes cat look without any difficulty. The brush is really thin and slim so you can control the bristle and get the look that you want.
Small Angle E65

The perfect angle to make any eyeliner look

As for Tapered Blending (E40), I like this one because I use it as brush to put my transition color, it gives the perfect finish of my transition color, it blend it real well without any harshness.
Tapered Blending E40

Their brushes are more expensive than Real Techniques but it is worth investment for Make-up lover :) :)

3. Sephora - Crease brush

I know it is Crease brush but I use it as Blending brush because I feel like it works perfectly as blending brush for me. Anyone also use their brush in other way as it supposed to do or it just me? :P :P

I find the brush is quite small so it is perfect for Asian eyes where our eyes are total different and the brush has a bit pointy so I can specifically use it to the parts where I want to blend. It is like I can control the brush to do its job wherever I want.

4. Boscia Super-Cool De-Puffing Eye Balm

This product is recommended by my BFF, he is really good in skin care product, I always ask him :P :P

I barely take care of my eye part which I should because I always focusing my eyes make-up and recently I sleep really late so eyes usually so puffy.

This product will help you to DE-PUFF in the morning, you can see the difference. It is quite cooling while you apply it and in minutes your eyes are perfect to go out. RECOMMEND!!

5. The Body Shop - Tea Tree Oil

Acne or Pimple is an annoying thing that could ever appear in our face esp it always pop-out on "RIGHT" timing!! Hate it. haha. Lucky I found this Body Shop - Tea Tree Oil. I usually apply it like 2-3 days, the acne or pimple kinda dry out (for the pimple that you don't squeeze it) but it works best after you squeeze it (just small pimple or acne), it will penetrate and works it wonder. Within days, it will dry out and leaves no scar.

My current Favorite in beating those pimples!

6. Biore - Cleansing Oil-in-Cotton

There will always be a lazy day when we don't feel like removing make-up, it happens to me quite lot. haha. When those days are around, I just use this Biore Cleansing Oil-in-Cotton Sheet Make up Remover. It just remove EVERYTHING! even the stubborn Mascara, you know mascara can be real stubborn, this sheet just remove it without any effort. Love this makeup remover. It makes my life easier. Biore is really good in their make-up remover product, not only this cotton but also its Cleansing Oil. Biore never fails me!

It comes with the box and also Refill :)

What is your February Favorites ladies??

Tutorial: My Look using Lorac Pro Palette-- Simple Sexy Brown

It is about Lorac Pro Palette again, hope you ladies are not that sick with this product, please don't because this one is worth it :) This time, it is not about Review or me blabbing about how good it is, but I will make Tutorial using it. This I think is my second tutorial so bare with me  :)

Here we go:
1. Always remember to PRIMER your eyes so the color will be obvious and Long-lasting whole day.

2. Line your upper waterline using your favorite Black Pencil Eyeliner. I am using Hana Waterproof Black Pencil Eyeliner.
3. Take any cream pencil liner in Dark Brown Color, Here I am using Holika Holika Jewel-light Waterporoof Eyeliner in shade No.5 and blend it out using your finger.

Take out your Lorac Pro Palette, it is the time to use it :P Today we are going to use 5 colors: Garnet, Gold, Champagne, Deep Purple & Cream.

4. Apply Gold at your upper lid until middle half and leave the tip part for Champagne. Blend well between Gold and Champagne.
5. Apply Garnet above the Gold color. Again Blend well so there is no harsh line above the Garnet.
6. Apply little of Cream color above the Garnet as transition color so it won't be so weird.

7. Apply the Deep Purple color in the V corner and Blend well into Garnet and Gold.
8. Touch up some of the Gold in the middle of upper lid.
9. Now it is the lower lash line time. The sequence of the colors is the same as above just put it in very thin line and blend all those color together.
10. Apply Deep Purple on outer lash line and Garnet next about 1/4 and then Gold in the middle and lastly Champagne in the inner.

11. Put your favorite Eyeliner, I am using CLIO eyeliner and Hana Waterproof Eyeliner for Lower Lash Line.
12. Curl your lashes and apply your Fave mascara, I am using Maybelline Rocket Mascara

And You are DONE!
The Result~~~

CLOSE UP!!!

This is my Simple Sexy Brown Make-up, Love the color payoff of Lorac Pro Pallet, all the application is one 1-2 sweeps and I can get the color I want. This is why I am so IN LOVE with it.

Review: LUSH Cream Eyeshadow - SOPHISTICATED

Never know that LUSH has make-up line now, because in my mind, LUSH is all about bubbles, strong nice smell bath soap, and unique bubble soap and all. Up until my friend gave this little bottle to me, I was like "HEIN?! LUSH has Cream Eyeshadow?? I don't know lerrr (in my Singlish mode) :P

My first impression of it without opening or trying it, just by looking, I was like "The color looks nice"; it looks very pigmented and very coppery color which I like. So I definitely will give it a try.

Nice & Cute Packaging

The Color is quite nice right? Nice shimmery Taupe color

I found my interesting way in using this cream eyeshadow is to out some of it in your lid and let it sit for like couple seconds and blend it with your finger and the color is more visible than if you directly blend it after application.

What I say:
1. Packaging is Unique, it looks like some of those chemical bottle which I find quite cute. I really love the packaging ( I think I will give 10 out of 10 for the creativity)
2. It comes in clear bottle so you'll know when you run out even tho it will be quite long, because the amount of this product is quite much.
3. It quite pigmented and definitely can build it up.
4. Can be used as base color as well
5. It quite long lasting, last from 3 - 8 hours depends on if you use Primer or not.

So, have you ladies try this? Happy Weekend all

Review & Swatch: Lorac Pro Palette

Eye shadows...I am obsessed of eye shadows, I have a tendency to buy eye shadows or to go to eye shadow area of beauty store, it is like I never have enough eye shadows. Now I have like 7-8 eye shadow palettes, maybe I should stop for a while in buying the palette, since I have some to try on. :P

But today I just want to share my review and swatches on my new Love " LORAC PRO PALETTE"

I mentioned in my Jan Favorite that I am so in Love with this product so why not I write one post especially for it. :)

Here is the picture of the product again. It comes with mini eyeshadow primer called Lorac Behind The Scenes Eye Primer. Real quick review on the eye primer: it works really good in keeping the eyeshadow and definitely long lasting.

Move on to the eye shadow, you all have peek of it already from my Jan Fave but here are some of the close up and swatches :)

The close-up
It consists of 16 shadows which combination of 8 matte and 8 shimmer shadows so you have balance amount of those two types. Upper part are all the matte shadows and Bottom part are the shimmer shadows. All of the shadows are very pigmented or I should say Ultra-pigmented which I was so surprised when the first time I swatches it for the first time.

Here is the swatches:

  • All of the color is crazy pigmented and it doesn't fall off when you apply it.
  • This is taken without any flash, only with normal light and taken with IPhone, you can see how the color is so obvious without editing or taken with any professional camera.

One other thing I like about this palette is the Packaging. It is very light, slim and yet simple. Easy to carry around while travelling.

See, how slim it is :)
Conclusion:
1. Great color payoff, little effort in getting the color you desire.
2. Combination of Matte and Shimmery shadows, it is a good choice on-the-go product when travelling.
3. Simple and light packaging
4. Comes with great eye primer (mini size)
5. Good colors choice, can do from Natural to the Red Carpet looks

Price: USD 42

Re-purchase: DEFINITELY! I will even buy other Lorac products like the eye primer and the shadows with other bold color if they make one. :)

Thanks for reading and Happy Sunday lovelies :) :)

Jan 2014 Favorite Products

Hi lovelies, this is  my first time in doing my Favorite post. I begin to accumulate lots of make-up & skin care products so I am thinking why not write my favorite make up products at the moment and I will definitely re-purchase the products until I find new and better products, haha.

OK, here is some Make-up Products I am loving now:
1. Eye Shadow Palette
I am soooo in love with LORAC PRO PALETTE. I highly recommend this product to all Make-up Lover. The color payoff is crazy GOOD!! It doesn't have lots of fall off and the most important is with one swipe you can get the color you desire without the need of many application.

I will specifically write a post more about this palette since I am so in love with it. HAHA!

It also comes with Eye Primer

2. Foundation
When BB cream is introduced for the first time, I switched from foundation to BB cream ever since. But after moved to Singapore, I don't know why BB cream always give me that shining face in the end of the day, don't know if it is the weather or my body changes. :P so when I was back home in Medan, I went to check out Revlon product and the lady suggested me this foundation and it works wonder. No greasy, oily face now. And it said it could stay for 24H but I think 12H (in my face) but it already good considering drugstore product with long lasting effect, light and good coverage.

3. Concealer
I have lots of concealers as we all ladies must have, we just like to buy stuffs (don't we?) haha. But now I am liking this concealer from Bare Minerals, from the packing to the coverage.
The packing is small, so it is easier to carry around and the coverage is good, covers most of my acne scar.

4. Blusher
I usually do not use blusher a lot since I was kinda lazy to put so many products in my face for daily basis. But when I was home for CNY this year, I tried my sister's blusher by Maybelline, I was like OMG!! It really gives some color to my pale face (haha), so I decided to run to Maybelline to buy it and it is cheap with great color. Recommend it!!

5. Make-up Brushes
Till now, I love 2 brands of makeup brushes which is SIGMA brush and Real Technique. Both of them works wonder in doing their job haha, I love Sigma steadiness in all application and as Real Technique I love its Powder Brush which gives the neat finished for the powder application.

Both of the brushes are good quality products, but Sigma brushes are pricey. So for you with limited budget and want good brushes, you can really consider Real Technique Brush. It never fails me. :) :)

So that's about my Jan 2014 current Favorite products, what about yours?? :) Have a nice week ladies

Review: Real Technique Brush - Core Collection

Hi Ladies, Happy CNY!! Wish all the blessing and happiness be with you all in this holiday season!

Oh well, today I am going to review about this magnificent make-up brush that I am loving at the moment which is REAL TECHNIQUE BRUSH by Samantha Chapman. You ladies must have heard about this brushes by her, it is viral in YouTube and blog as well. It is quite difficult to buy in Asia so I ordered mine online from the states and of course with my friend's help, these babies are in my hand now. LOLXX

Here are the pics I took of my baby brushes:

the handle is a bit dirty (coz i m using it everyday) haha

To be honest, these brushes really work wonder, because before I used Korean brand brushes and some of Sephora brush, I also like Sephora brush esp their blending brush. But today I am talking about their core collection which are consists of 4 full size brushes and standing case.

I am going to talk about this standing case, aside using it as its container, I like to use its stand to dry all my brushes after deep cleaning my brushes because I don't like to put my brushes in a jar to dry, I think it takes longer time to dry. So I use this standing case instead, save my time and my brushes :P :P

So what are the brushes in this collection???? Wanna know?? Keep reading yaa :>

Their brushes are ultra-plush and synthetic bristles, the most important is it is very very soft in skin.

The brushes are:

1.  Detailer Brush - good for concealer to make more define and long-lasting shape.

2. Pointed foundation Brush -  good for liquid foundation to create great coverage.

3. Buffing Brush - good for application of powder and mineral foundation

4. Contour Brush - with a little pointed brush it is great to contour and create more focus finish.

Pro-s:

1. The brushes are all SUPER SOFT, synthetic bristles and its hand-cut :>
2. I like the handle, its size is perfect to grip and to move around, plus the color is cute  ( thinking to get their pinkie brush). Oh ya, it is also very light.
3. Most love its Buffing Brush because its gives the perfect coverage of the powder and its gives even finish.
4. It is Cheap, I think I got mine like 16-18 SGD (after convert it from USD)
5. The bristles are quite full, so it catches all the necessary foundation or powder.

Con-s:

1. The black part of the handle gets dirty quickly, i think because of the rubber material they use. but still ok.
2. Unable to find it at stores in Asia :(

So what is your fave brushes, ladies??
