Short trip to Surabaya, Sidoarjo and Mt. BROMO - INDONESIA

Hi All, how are yall?? I am just from my short trip to Surabaya yesterday esp Mt. Bromo. This is the first time for me to travel to other parts of Java island because I am from Medan, I barely go to other Indonesia area except Jakarta or Bali. To be honest, I am really surprised because Surabaya or Sidoarjo is quite clean compare to other cities in Indonesia even tho the weather is pretty hot. But Mt. Bromo is spectacular, the view is breath-taking and it leaves deep footprint in my heart. Able to interact with the local and stay eat sleep like local Surabaya is def unforgettable memory. And plus the food is AWESOME!!!!!!!

Here is some pictures of my trip:
View from plane heading to Surabaya

First meal after touch down, the iga soup was Splendid!!!

Nothing can beats INDONESIA FRIED RICE!!!

After the first dinner at Sidoarjo, we went to buy Sim Card ( as we said we can live without food but can't live without Internet!) hahahaha. Then we headed to Bromo around 10 PM, it took 2 hours to reach one of our friend house and we rested a bit and continued ard 2.30 AM to head to get our jeep for Bromo adventure. Mt. Bromo is freaking cold!!! So for anyone who plan to go there to see sunrise, equipped yourself with winter jacket, hat, gloves and scarfs, because the wind there is pretty strong. We so kia su (tak mau kalah), we went to chop our spot at around 4.30 AM (because 3 of my friends are photographer, so they are so committed to get the best shots--typical photographer). haha

The Sunrise, the sun was peeking a bit :P

Breathtaking Scene!

The Sun is UP!

Hey hey, I am at Mt. Bromo!!!

Indomie Kuah is the best for cold weather like this!!!

After the sunrise, we also took a bit snack because hunger and cold, we ate some indomie soup. and then we continue our journey to PASIR BERBISIK (Sea of sands), the sands is pretty fine there and a bit dusty.
The Sea of Sands (Pasir Berbisik/ Laut Pasir)
After that, we went to Savana, it is so dry but at the same time, the scene is magnificent. Can photo prewed here. hahaha
Savana
Then we went to our last spot at Bromo which is the Crater. Here is the place you must be aware, REMEMBER to bring FACE MASK (masker mulut) or else you will be breathing or gulping some serious sands here as there will be occasionally wind sand here (pretty tense). We also hired a horse to take us to the crater and we need to climb the stairs to see the crater which most of the stairs cover in sands. you can feel how sandy it is here. After the journey to the crater, I feel like my whole body is full of sand even HAIR, EVERYTHING!!!!!!
with my horsie that going to take me to the crater

Mt. Bromo Crater

Local Delicacy!
Lastly, we rest at local's house where they cooked us some real good delicacy. simple yet delicious.

Surabaya people is very very friendly, the city is clean and nice. It was a great trip and left smile in our face and Love in our heart.

I am so proud of being Indonesian where the country is full of amazing view and nature. Really hope our government can invest or focus more in the natural scenic. It will be great attraction for foreigner as I traveled quite lots to foreign county, nowhere beats Indonesia nature beauty scene.

INDONESIA ROCKZZZZ

Product Review: Maybelline NY : Bold Matte Lipstick, Color: MAT 2

Hello ladies, gimana kabarnya?

Akhirnya gue beli 2 produk (dikit impulsive) which are Lipstick Matte and Hyper Glossy Liner Turquoise Blue ( untuk liner ini, gue sbnrnya pgn very color but gue control diri sendiri, cmn beli satu dulu, di test dl- ga mao impulsive buying). Habis gue bayar, gue musti ke counter nya utk collect my stuffs, Untungnya gue buka dulu lipstick didepan counter utk cek, ternyt bagian atas lipstick nya defect so langsung gw tukar ke staff, biasanya gue ga bakal lsg buka, hari itu ntah angin dewa dr mana gue just nge-check. Lucky bgt. hahaha.

So yang gue mo review hari ini itu Lipstick Matte nya, why I bought matte lipstick instead of glossy one, the reason simple banget: karena menurut gue, matte lipstick lebih long lasting than the glossy one. Karena staff nya rekomen glossy lipstick but gw ga mau. hahaha.

In the end, I was so right about the lipstick, it is my favorite at the moment!! Bring it with me every time gue keluar. hehe

Ini dia productnya:

The overall packing is pretty decent and nice
The bottom is the color description which is a bit Orange Red
I like the color coz it is quite daring and cocok sama my skin tone :) :)

The looks on my Skin and Lips:

On My Lip:

I usually apply it with one stroke and focused in the middle and blend it to the side coz I want to make a bit of gradient look. I also like to pair it with Peri Pera lip tint to give a lil bit of shine (juz a bit)

PRO:
1. The packing is decent and nice.
2. The matte texture is good and it is LONG LASTING.
3. The application also very smooth, not like some of the matte lipstick where you need to put some lipbalm or else u ll afraid it will break apart. haha
4. It is cheap with good quality

CONS:
1. The color choice is a bit little which is only 4 choices.

HAPPY SUNDAY ALL!!

Review: Missha Skin Tightening Auto Massager (Revised on 8th June 2014)

Hello Pretties~~

It's another week again, how's your weekend? Mine is goodie :) :) Relaxing weekend is good once in a while ya. ha ha

As I promised from my last blog, I will write the review of the haul article.

Today the main cast is MISSHA Skin Tightening Auto Massager. Ta-Da

The Box - Not big and fancy box

It is light-weight and fit to your palm

The tip of product comes with LED which can helps to stimulate the skincare product you use together with the massager
The Back of the box: Instruction on How to use, even tho it is in Korean but it comes w/ picture so I can understand it eventually haha

Close of on the HOW-TO Operate:
This picture below shows that you only need to touch the middle silver plat of the product and also touch the LED top tour skin to generate the massager.
Remember there is NO SWITCH ON and OFF button (as I also look for it for the first time)

How to use:
Move the massager on your face as the picture shown below. Easy peasy :>

Pro:
1. It is Light-weight massager, not the bulky, heavy one which is good thing.
2. No switch on and off, so once you release your hand from the silver plat, it will stop automatically.
    3. The Design is pretty good, simple and most importantly it fits well on my palm.
    4. The vibration is good enough, not the super vibrate or less vibrate. So we only get shock. hahaa J/K
    5. It operates on AAA battery X 1
    6. Even tho, there is no big difference on my skin but I feel like the skincare is absorbing really fast while I         use the massager (*big thumb)
    7. Pretty cheap for massager.

Cons:
1. The battery runs out really quick since only 1 battery. But if Missha make it rechargeable massager, it will be much better.
2. Sometimes the sensor is a bit off duty which means need to be really touch (a bit harder) to our skin.
3. The quality is not good, It does not last long, the product broke easily (mine broke after half year) :((
But overall this product is good in massage and surely cheap!

Repurchase:
NO, since the quality is not good, I rather pay more expensive for a long-lasting product.

xoxo
Julez

HAUL BLOG: Korean Products

Hi Pretties!!

The weekend is here!!! Any plans to fill your weekend? Either is Relaxing or Busy weekend, I hope all of you have blast!! For me, I plan to spend my weekend relax because last week- weekend, it was busy busy one, went out a lot. Tired myself and on weekdays after that, I slept quite early every day like 10PM, already passed out on my *pulau kapuk. hahaha

Today, I decided to do some haul blog about the things that I recently bought. Recently, I bought lots of Korean products. As we all know, Korean product is pretty good quality and cheap. Korean culture is boomingggg~~~

Ok then, Let's see what I got this time :)

All the products taking Group Picture. LOL

1. Missha - Skin Tightening Auto Massager

Missha- Skin Tightening Auto Massager

This Product is really easy to use and pretty cheap for face Massager. I bought this because I saw review about it and give it a try. I am going to do separate review for each of the item or else, this one will be such a long long article. :P

2. CLIO - Kill Black Waterproof Brush Liner and O' Tank Volume Mascara

This one comes with combo package, Eyeliner and Mascara. Handy. I bought this one because a lot of recommendation on the eyeliner. Later I am going to do review of it and compare it with Maybelline Hyper Sharp liner. So stay tune ya :)

3. Missha - Time Revolution Night Repair Essence

I did not buy this one but when my company went to Korea for company trip, my colleague bought this for me since I can not go. Just got into the company for like several months :( :( :(  My friend got the 50 ml one, Pretty big one since the amount that I use every night is just so little because only 2 drops is enough for the whole face. :)

4. Innisfree - Jeju Volcanic Pore Clay Mask

Ok, this comes the viral product (i think), lots of recommendation about this product on how it works really well on blackheads and everything. But to be honest, it does not do its magic on it, I tried it once but cant see any difference. I am going to give it a try several times and make a review about it. So please innisfree works your magic on me. hahha *maksa mode :P

5. Innisfree- Jeju Volcanic Liquid Nose Pack

Another Innisfree product, nose pack. It is really cheap, if I am not mistaken only like 6000 WON . This is one really CHEAP product so I think I must to give it a try. But it turns out to be SERIOUS Disappointment. Seriously, the nose pack does not WORK at all. Used it once and put it aside for like months. Quite downer. :( :( :( Anyone also ever used this product? Are you share the same feeling with me?? Please comment down below

6. Holika Holika - Jewel-light Waterproof Eyeliner

I love love love this eyeliner, it is waterproof and comes with glitter. Special article will be on these babies. I bought 2 first time and purchased another one again. LOVE THIS ONE! RECOMMENDED!!!

7. Etude House - My Lash Serum

I bought this one because I think I need to give my lash some serum so it will grow longer and longer. Since I have pretty shortie lashes hahaha. Still working on it to see if my lashes goes some cm or not :P, will let you guys know :) :)

8. Skin Food - Super Nut Mask

My colleague gave this for me as a gift from Korea. Havent tried it, going to do soon. Hope it really good and does not irritate my skin. I got pretty sensitive skin. Right now, I can only do with My Beauty Diary Mask from Taiwan.

So, those are the things I bought recently, not that many, yea? haha I wish I bought more but need to save save. hahaha.

Hope you guys can enjoy my blog and please comment down below to let me know if you also purchase the same products and if you like it or not :) :)

Enjoy your lovely weekend, Pretties

Review: Clinique Perfectly Real Radiant Skin Compact Makeup SPF 29/PA+++

Hi Pretty!

Recently I got freebies from Clinique so today I am going to do the review on its Perfectly Real Radiant Skin Compact Makeup with SPF29/PA+++.

The Freebie packaging is really simple, plain green since it is freebies so the size is really small ( only 2.3g), perfect to be in my pouch. HAHA. Ok, the color I got is No. 04 Cream Beige, I think the color is a bit too dark for my skin tone now especially after I moved to Singapore from Taiwan, I got a little bit fairer than before I was in Taiwan (because I like to beach when I was in Taiwan) :P :P

Anyway, here is the look of the Freebie product:

Back of the box with the description

Inside

Actual Product:

The compact is good but not great, the powder is really Ultra-fine so good for oily skin like me. It is also give the radiant looks but more matte since there is no bits of shimmer or anything. But the coverage is not performing so well in hiding the freckles or acne

Pro:
1. It comes with SPF29, UV protection baby~~ which is quite high for compact powder.
2. Really Ultra-fine powder, perfect for oily skin
3. Matte yet radiant finishing

Cons:
1. The coverage is medium level where only covers fairly but for freckle, it still a bit obvious.
2. It does not stay long, such a downer. Really after like 1-2 hours, you need to touch up again. :(

Re-purchase: No, Since I like my make up to last longer not like 1-2 hours.

Enjoy your days, ladies :) :)
