Banila Co Makeup Remover: Clean It Zero Purity

Do you ever feel like so lazy to remove your makeup after the day ends? I do!! Always especially during my pregnancy. I still able to put some nice and simple makeup when going out but removing it, I am dead serious lazy.

Luckily I bought this makeup remover balm when I was in Korea for my pre-wedding photoshoot. It is Banila Co Makeup Remover: Clean it Zero Purity. I know it was hype for sometimes already esp the pink bottle. But I decided to go for the green bottle which is the Clean it Zero Purity.

The difference between the Clean It Zero (Pink) & Clean It Zero Purity (Green) is
1. Clean It Zero (Pink): is for Normal skin
2. Clean It Zero Purity (Green): is for Sensitive skin

Sometimes my skin can be a little sensitive thus I chose the Purity instead.

Tell you, this product can beat my all time favorite makeup remover oil which is Biore Cleansing Oil.
I tried it and I Love it! I love how it just melts all your stubborn makeup, the stubbornest makeup ever also can be melted 😆 It is so solid in removing all your makeup I should said.

Here is my video on how I remove makeup using this product. You can see it in my instagram as well (IG: julezjuliana)

Application:
Using the spatula to scope out the product to keep it hygiene and use the circular motion to start rubbing your makeup. Face, Eyes and Lips makeup will be gone in no time!

Pro:
1. It is quick, solid and good in removing all the makeup (No doubt)
2. It does not irritate your skin esp if you have sensitive skin (so far it does not break out or anything my face)
3. It has a good quantity amount of product (using it since June 2017 and now still has quarter)
4. It does not has any fragrance at all
5. Once you are done and rinse it with water, it actually almost gone but I like to do double cleansing using my Clarisonic Mia2 to remove all the unwanted residue.

Cons:
None so far I am using it but if you are the one who do not like the oily cleansing maybe you won't like it.

Repurchase? YES!!!

Etude House: Real Powder Cushion SPF 50+ PA+++ in Light Beige

Who doesn't like the cushion foundation that last pretty long and not oily at all? Especially in Singapore humid and hot weather. I finished my Laneige cushion foundation (finally) and wanted to try new cushion foundation that can lasts long in Singapore weather. After reading all the reviews out there, I decided to give Etude House Real Powder Cushion a try.

It claims to be Primer+ BB Cream+ Concealer+ Powder Pact+ Oil Control Powder. Honestly it has lots of function so I am kinda excited. Once I got it, I use it the next day even though I just out for a while.

Before my review, here is the look of the Refill and the case of the cushion. Nowadays, Etude House is so creative in their cases. They make the prettiest and adorable cases ever, mine is the "Let your Sparkle On". It is soo glittery and girly!

My first impression on Real Powder Cushion is:
1. It surely has Powdery finish (Matte finish) and oil control element that it claims (good job Etude House).
2. The coverage is good and nice. It covers my black spots and pores for sure.
3. It needs to let sit for couple of minutes before you touch your face or else finger print everywhere.
**because I applied cushion foundation first then did my eyes makeup and leaned my fingers to my face thus it has some finger print but luckily it can blend well
4. Needs 2 applications (at least) to cover up those imperfections
5. Has a very very light scent which I like.
6. It lasts pretty long, as I applied it on 12 PM, went out in humid weather and even took a nap afterwards. It does NOT give me any OILY face looks. After nap, the coverage surely gone but still looks ok - No Oil at all 👍👍👍

Heading out after makeup

After nap (see my eyes makeup a lil smudging and no OIL face!!!)

Re-purchase: YES especially if you have oily face or lives in humid country! I recommend this cushion foundation!

NYX Bright Idea: Illuminating Stick in Lavender Lust (BIIS06) & Chardonnay Shimmer (BIIS05)

Who doesn't like highlighter? I love using it on my nose bridge to make it sharper. I have been using the BodyShop Highlighter Shimmer Waves (1) for past 2 years, still like it coz it gives me a bronzy highlighter look & can be used as contouring too.

But today I am going to share my review about "NYX Bright Idea: Illuminating Stick in Lavender Lust (BIIS06) & Chardonnay Shimmer (BIIS05)", I purchased it from Ulta USA when I was about to check-out.

The price is really affordable, it is buy 1 get 50% off for the 2nd one. I find shopping in USA is so addictive with all the discounts going on & the selection is different much more than Asia like Maybelline, Revlon, Neutrogena, so many products can't be found in Asia.

Well, let's start, shall we?

See how beautiful the color is, especially the Lavender Lust, this one that made me bought the product.

The swatches

Pros:
1. It is pretty creamy and easy application
2. Easily blend
3. Affordable price & you get the glow
4. If you wish to have more natural look and just want a lil glow, this is the product
4. Definitely plenty of product for the price you paid

Cons:
1. The shape of the highlighter a little to big for me, esp application for the nose area
2. Color paid off is a little less (esp once you blend it out) if you compare to other brand

Repurchase? Perhaps No, but if you are in tight budget, this one definitely a good choice

Anastasia Beverly Hills - Renaissance Eyeshadow Palette

It is ABH Renaissance Eyeshadow Palette, ladies!!! I FINALLY get my hand on this baby. You won't believe it how difficult it is to get this palette. I literally searched it all over place when I was in US, all possible stores that sell cosmetics in Portland such as Sephora, Macy's, Ulta; even in Las Vegas Sephora. it is all SOLD OUT in every physical store you can name it. I was so desperate as I was going back to Singapore soon. The ABH website carries it but the delivery takes longer time, they also do ship internationally but not in Asia #annoyed.  Amazon sells it for crazy price. You can tell how despo I am 😆

But luckily my husband managed to find one website that able to shipped it within 3 days which is NET-A-PORTER ( they also ship internationally) so I ordered it on 28 Aug 2016 and the delivery date is on 1 Sept 2016 which was the date I flew back, luckily my husband's colleague was able to help me carry back as she flew back later than us. Thanks GOD!

What a journey just to get this palette. But why I am so desperate about it! Because of the color!! Let me show you!

Soft Lilac Velvety case 💗

LOOK!! The colors are ADORABLE!!

I love using BURNT ORANGE & RED OCHRE!

REALGAR, ANTIQUE BRONZE & VENETIAN RED is da BOMB!

See how pigmented they are!

No FILTERS!

All the colors are so pretty. The pigmentation and blend-ability is crazily IMPRESSIVE. Lately I like red and warm tones color thus when I saw ABH came out with this palette, my heart just told me that "We MUST have this one" 😆

I do not regret buying this one, in fact, I am in love with this palette. Whenever I need to attend night event, this palette is my go-to palette without fails.

Pro:
1. Pigmentation and blend-ability is impressive
2. Color Selection is widely range esp for Red and warm tones
3. Creamy texture and there is no fall out from these products
4. Price is reasonable which around USD 42

Cons:
1. I wish there is whiter color than TEMPERA, aside that no white color to highlight the brow bone
2. The velvet packaging, it is nice but get dirty easily

Overall, I love this palette, no regret buying it and definitely recommend it! 👍👍

XOXO

Rimmel London - Provocalips 16HR Kissproof, Foodproof Lip Color

Who doesn't like Lipstick that last for at least 8 HR?
Today I am going to share my view on this particular Lip Colour, I actually interested in this product because I always watch Judy (Itsjudylife) and she shared on this product in her itsjudytime channel. It got me all interested in this one, since I am always the lazy one to touch up my lipstick after eating or whatsoever.
So I bought in HEARTHBREAKER color, this is my swatch

I gave a try on one fine day and I went to eat Ramen at Boxer Ramen since I, Asian miss my Asian food here in USA. Hoping that this lipstick is going to last after my meal (fingercrossed), so I ate the noodle like nobody business, ate carefreely without purposely avoiding the noodles or soup have direct contact with my lips. But Hey...it is a test for Rimmel Provocalips, right?

The Ramen is pretty OILY :)
After devouring the ramen (I just can't finish the food portion here...it is just too much), I checked on my lips...oh boy...oh boy....it doesn't really stay last throughout my ramen time. The middle section of my lipstick just gone....the side lipstick still intact...just the middle section was gone. Maybe the food was too much oily. It does not last on Ramen.
After the Ramen ~~

Pro:
1. It is super pigmented lips color
2. It is true non-transferrable once you apply it
3. Foodproof?? Maybe NO for oily food....if burger or sandwiches or soup perhaps it might last
4. Kissproof: YES
5. Affordable price

Cons:
1. A little dry after application but if you apply the Lock & Shine...it makes it much better and moisturize
2. Not so Foodproof on oily food
3. Not available in Singapore or SouthEast Asia
But I still like it so far! Love the color and the fact that it is Non-transferable means Kissproof, baby~~~

Review: Lorac Skinny Palette in NUDE

Another Viral Palette on Instagram that I spotted 2 months ago, since I followed a lot of beauty instagramer (to get inspired on their look and stuffs) and I really like the NUDE palette by Lorac which is limited edition and it is SOLD OUT everywhere (Lorac website, Zappos, and Hautelook). Luckily I managed to get mine on Hautelook while they re-stocked it (I think mine is the second batch of Hautelook stock), without any further consideration, I purchase 3 of the palettes which is NUDE, NAVY and PLUM
But today I am going to introduce the NUDE palette only, the other two will be in the other post :)
Here is the pic and swatches:
The box and Packing

Love the colors

Close up of the gorgeous color

Swatches (Room Lighting, No Flash)

I only use the Copper Gold color and the Light Brown (3 from Left) as transition color
What I said:
1. Love all the colors esp the Copperish-Gold color (the 3rd from Right), I can use it on its own (very coppery)
2. Less fall out
3. Great Pigmentation esp with eye primer
4. Very versatile palette (DEF my palette On-The-Go)
5. Very Reasonable price
6. Love the packaging, it is so slim (just like it said SKINNY) and light-weight. Easy to carry it around.
7. The only cons is Lorac should not make it as Limited Edition, should keep on producing it. All the color is Gorgeous!
Re-purchase:
YES, if they are still available

Review: Miss Hana Waterproof Eyeliner Np. 2 Galaxy Black

It is difficult to find a great waterproof eyeliner which doesn't smudge. But then I FOUND it!

Ta-DA it is MISS HANA WATERPROOF EYELINER.

I found it back in 2011 while I still stayed in Taiwan and I am using it until now. I always ask my friend who come to visit me here in Singapore to buy for me (stock up time). This eyeliner for me NO doubt is the best so far; Long lasting, anti-smudge, anti-sweat, anti-oil and most important it is easy to glide on (NO JOKE since my eyelids get oily easily) haha. Now I have like 8 pcs in stock (can tell how much I love this eyeliner, can't live without it) even though I have The Body Shop, Lancome, Holika Holika pencil eyeliners, most of them only last for the good 5-6 hours, unlike Miss Hana Waterproof Eyeliner, it lasts for good 8 hours.

It comes in 4 shades which are Night Black, Galaxy Black, Choco Brown and Golden Brown.

I always get the No.2 Galaxy Black which is Black color with some glitter in it

It is very dense Black Color

What I said:
1. It is Long lasting, Anti-Smudge, Anti-Oil, Waterproof eyeliner.
2. Lasts for good 8 hours (in my skin)
3. Easy to glide on because of its creamy texture
4. Easy to remove with eye makeup remover
5. Price is reasonable for its great quality
6. The cons is It is not easy to sharpen it, your sharpener must be real sharp or else it will be ruin. And don't even think about sharpen it using cutter, definitely will RUIN it. I think because of the creamy texture so it is not that steady.

So I vote it as The BEST Pencil Eyeliner EVER!!!

Hopefully I can find it in Singapore with reasonable price :P Please let me know if anyone sell it in Singapore

Amazing colors and it also comes with the famous PERVERSION 24/7 in Black

Benefit Brow Wax Experience at Sephora ION

Brow...brow, as Michelle Phan said it is the frame of your face, if it is well maintained and well-drawn, you will look gorgeous and if it is not, it ruins your whole make-up as well.

Last month I got this complimentary Benefit Brow Wax at Sephora Singapore as a gift for my birthday (YEY for SEPHORA-- my heaven on earth). Well, to be honest, I barely do any wax or anything to fix my brow, usually I just do it myself, it is not perfect yet not that bad as well :p :p Since I have this chance to get the perfect brow, I WON'T let this opportunity go away (in Singlish: DIE DIE must go), I did mine at Sephora ION and served by Joanne Lim (she is super nice)

So here it is

Their counter is so cute and neat! As you can see in the picture, on the table, there is thing like cooking pot, it is where the wax is melted and keep warm and the rest are just lotion or toner or remover. I really like the counter, because it is in PINK! :)

Right side is done with waxing, as you can tell from its redness, it is a bit pain for first timer like me but the result is AHMAZZZING! It is soooo neat and def perfect brow! Worth it all the pain hahaha!

Left: Before                      Right: After
See the differences before and after, feel very ashamed of the before picture :( :(

Both brows are finished, it is so perfectly shaped! I don't know how many times I mentioned "perfect" LOL

Zoom: Right side

Zoom: Left side

Both brows are perfect now! After 1-2 hours, the redness is gone
What I said:
1. Benefit Brow Wax is cool, nice and def give you the perfect shaped brow (no more ugly brow)
2. It is a bit pain but still bearable and it is worth it
3. A bit expensive, it costs like SGD 24 per times ( They don't offer any package, sad sad sad) They should tho

But still I like this experience of brow wax, I will definitely go again but just not that often. LOL!

Review: Baviphat Snail Cure Mask Sheet

Alow~~Happy Sunday and I am back with review. This time it is Mask. Honestly, I don't change my mask brand often, I stick to one brand which is My Beauty Diary mask from Taiwan. There is a reason why I don't try new mask because before I liked to try new mask (cheap and expensive brand) but one day I got this serious allergy where my WHOLE face was swollen, redness and itchy for 3 days (and of course I went to see dermatologist--he said because the mask contains alcohol) after that incident, I was afraid to use any sheet mask up until my ex-colleague told me about the MBD mask then I tried it with ready-to-go-see-doc heart if anything happens (LOL) which apparently not, Thanks God for that. So from that on, I stick to MBD mask for like a year.

Then I moved to Singapore and one day this Baviphat snail mask was given to me as a gift, I like the packaging but still a bit afraid to use it. Then my colleague also gave Very good review about it so I think I must give it a try and I did. It is a good decision to try it! This mask become my one of fave mask now. haha~~ It is a awesome feeling when you can use or find good product on your crazily sensitive skin, isn't it??

Finally, after a long prologue :D here comes the review and how I use it:
How I use it:
1. Put in fridge for 5 mins
2. As usual, take it out and put it on your face
3. Leave it for 15~20 mins
4. Take it off and massage the residue on face in upward circular motion so your skin could absorb its goodness.

I quite agree with their own description, because I will use it whenever I feel I need some cure to my skin then I use this weapon (haha), it really calms my skin and leave it moisturize.
It said to be able to recover the stability of unbalanced troubled skin due to stress, increases the moisture retaining capacity of skin and keeps the moisturizing skin long-lasting.

Advantages:
1. Cute design
2. Aloe Vera Smell instead of the snails' slime we all thot it will be :P
3. It is free from Alcohol (which is good! coz I am allergy to it :( )
4. Definitely Non-sticky after you remove the mask and still have the remaining goodness which allow you to massage into your skin (which is different from MBD mask- after you remove the mask, it is full of the goodness and a bit sticky)
5. Affordable
6. Free Itchy for me, my skin is LOVING it. YEY!!

Disadvantages:
1. Sadly it contains paraben :(

Repurchase??
Yea, definitely but will only use it if my skin needs extra help.
Thanks lovelies, stay tune for more and enjoy the weekend :)

Review: 3CE (3 Concept Eyes) Creamy Lip Color No.9 Kitsch Biker

Again, I have been MIA from my blog again. Too occupied by my work and many other things.  Oh well, I am back with some reviews on Korean products. Because my friend went to Korea not long ago, so I asked her to help me buy some stuff. =) =) But today is review on 3CE lip product.

Recently I am so obsesses with lip product esp those with bright color (guess I found myself not really match with the nude or pinkish color =(  even tho I really like the pinkish color, it just not match with my skin tone).

I bought this 3CE lip product not long ago in No.9 Kitsch Biker (orange reddish color). It soon becomes my  on-the-go lip product. Before I was not a fan of lip product (I can go out without putting any lipstick),  I am more to eye shadow geek but now I love BOTH. Lolx

What I like:
1. I love the packaging, it is simple and classy plus has the "Click" sound when you close it (it is like give me the secure feeling that it is tightly close) haha
2. It is moist and for sure creamy as its name which make the application so easy ( I don't need to put any lip balm to moist my lip)
3. It is very beautiful color which match my skin perfectly
4. For me, it is quite long lasting, can last for like 4 hours even after I have my meal.
5. It is affordable only 13.300 WON ( SGD 16.3)

So far, I am so satisfy with this product, haven't found any point I don't like yet. Hopefully won't, haha.

I think I will try the other colors of this collection ( will try to go for more neutral color)  =))

My February 2014 Favorite

February ended so fast, I feel like just finish writing my January Favorite and now it is March already, so it is time for me to write February Favorite :) Time flies...Just a blink of eyes, its already March of 2014. Remember clearly that me and my group of friends just discussing what to do on Old & New 2013. :D Time flies so fast~~

Ok, no more babbling, lets start!

1. Real Techniques - Stippling Brush

I L.O.V.E this Dual-Fiber Stippling Brush by Real Techniques, I usually use it to apply my foundation and dabbing to my face to get more coverage by building the foundation. It gives the kinda airbrush effect to the finish look. The bristle is real soft and 100% cruelty-free. One more thing I like from Real Techniques brushes are their length of the bristle is perfectly measure, not too short or long, so it is easier to control its movement. Plus, I like the color because it is PINK!!!

Really RECOMMEND this one if you want to get the airbursh and more coverage in applying foundation. This stippling brush will def my On-to-go brush now.

Their Bristle is really soft and not too short or too long, so it is easier to control its movement

2. Sigma Brushes : Small Angle (E65) ,Tapered Blending (E40)

Aside than Real Techniques brush, I also in love in SIGMA brush, their brushes are really steady and works really good. I personally really like their Small Angle (E65) brush because with this one, I could get the Winged eyes cat look without any difficulty. The brush is really thin and slim so you can control the bristle and get the look that you want.
Small Angle E65

The perfect angle to make any eyeliner look

As for Tapered Blending (E40), I like this one because I use it as brush to put my transition color, it gives the perfect finish of my transition color, it blend it real well without any harshness.
Tapered Blending E40

Their brushes are more expensive than Real Techniques but it is worth investment for Make-up lover :) :)

3. Sephora - Crease brush

I know it is Crease brush but I use it as Blending brush because I feel like it works perfectly as blending brush for me. Anyone also use their brush in other way as it supposed to do or it just me? :P :P

I find the brush is quite small so it is perfect for Asian eyes where our eyes are total different and the brush has a bit pointy so I can specifically use it to the parts where I want to blend. It is like I can control the brush to do its job wherever I want.

4. Boscia Super-Cool De-Puffing Eye Balm

This product is recommended by my BFF, he is really good in skin care product, I always ask him :P :P

I barely take care of my eye part which I should because I always focusing my eyes make-up and recently I sleep really late so eyes usually so puffy.

This product will help you to DE-PUFF in the morning, you can see the difference. It is quite cooling while you apply it and in minutes your eyes are perfect to go out. RECOMMEND!!

5. The Body Shop - Tea Tree Oil

Acne or Pimple is an annoying thing that could ever appear in our face esp it always pop-out on "RIGHT" timing!! Hate it. haha. Lucky I found this Body Shop - Tea Tree Oil. I usually apply it like 2-3 days, the acne or pimple kinda dry out (for the pimple that you don't squeeze it) but it works best after you squeeze it (just small pimple or acne), it will penetrate and works it wonder. Within days, it will dry out and leaves no scar.

My current Favorite in beating those pimples!

6. Biore - Cleansing Oil-in-Cotton

There will always be a lazy day when we don't feel like removing make-up, it happens to me quite lot. haha. When those days are around, I just use this Biore Cleansing Oil-in-Cotton Sheet Make up Remover. It just remove EVERYTHING! even the stubborn Mascara, you know mascara can be real stubborn, this sheet just remove it without any effort. Love this makeup remover. It makes my life easier. Biore is really good in their make-up remover product, not only this cotton but also its Cleansing Oil. Biore never fails me!

It comes with the box and also Refill :)

What is your February Favorites ladies??
